restoration materials in Europe
Hi,
Anyone any idea where I might buy pins, spacers etc in Europe. I live in Belgium so as close to that small country as possible would be great.
Thanks all !!

Welcome!
Hi!
First of all, welcome to SRP!
You can get restoration kits at The Invisibile Edge in the UK via the link below.
Razor Scales & Pin kits
They also sell the pins and wedges individually if you want to make your own scales. They ship to the EU and the price you see is the price you pay, so no additional charges for postage!
You can get Dremel polishing kits from Amazon for a good price and you can order MAAS from the site below.
Churchcastle Limited t/as MASS UK Products
Good luck with the restoration and be sure to post some pics and let us know how it went!

You can buy a variety of rods, washers and screws at microscrews.nl. They will put your order in an envelop so shipping is cheap.

If they're microfasteners you might want to check out the wiki article here:
Adjustable Pins aka Microfasteners - Straight Razor Place Wiki (under Required Material)
Not sure if the sizes listed (aside screw length) need to be converted, though.

Here's a list of what I ordered:
P100
1,5mm
2mm
P150
2,5 x 0,45mm
P220
1,5mm
2mm
C102
1,6mm x2
2mm
C302
1,6mm
2mm
Those things at the left are microtubes, you can use them to fill up an oversized pivothole. A 1.5mm rod will fit right through it. As you can see I haven't done any pinning yet, handsanding razors takes forever
I didn't buy any microfasteners because they don't have them in 1.5mm, they are expensive and you have to buy 10 of them.
Good service I may add. He sent my order in advance with payment after delivery. He did forget both the M2 washers but he send them for free afterwards.Last edited by Piet; 09-10-2009 at 03:19 PM.

Without the M2 washers it cost 23.21(subtotal) + 2(shipping) = 25,21 euro.
