    Default Rust removal

    I just get a C-mon Blackie and need to remove miner rust on blade a spine. What is the best way to get this done? By hand with Massa compound?

    Also what is best to polish scales?

    As far as the scales I just use a little metal polish and it works well.

    It would be helpful if you could post a picture of the blade you want to work on. Then the experienced restorers can offer specific advice. "Minor rust" can mean different things to different people.
