    Default Good razor to practice honing?

    I just won this razor on Ebay for $15 shipped. Does this look like a good razor to practice honing on? Anyone know anything about this razor brand etc.?

    Keen Kutter straight razor, marked Keen Kutter #745 on one side and shapleigh's/St. Louis on the other.

    Your razor is better than something just to practice with. Keen Kutter is excellent. You may find that this will remain one of your favorites over the years.

    It appears to have bone scales. If they are, they will really polish up nicely...
