Does anyone have any updates on this? I'm currently refinishing celluloid scales on a Dovo 24 and would love to know if there is anything i might be able to protect it with. I want to do some touch up work with gold flake paint, and would like something to coat over top of that to help protect it and make it last.

Why not use CA? or 30 min epoxy if you want a longer set time?
