    Default Some initial first restores

First apologies for the pics. I told you my camera sucked and it finally died. So I used my wife's cell and the pics came out blue.

Any way. First up is my first attempt at a Sculpey scale with a Carbo magnetic blade that the wife bought for me. you can see at the hinge pin there is a crack in the material. I can fix that with washers or a thin metal backer. I also need to check my oven temp and refrigerate the material after rolling it.

Here is a Bengall Full wedge in linen Micarta. Some may remember the before. It has come a long way.

Again Sorry for the quality but it is all I have until I can get my camera back up.

    Good work man!

I generally prefer natural materials, which is why I like the white top one!

Looking good for initial scales... but I am curious, what kind of scale material is it?

The top one is Sculpey. It is a bakeable polymer clay that hardens after it bakes. Good stuff. I am still working the kinks out.

The other is linen micarta. My first try there.
