    Default Is this fixable?

    Hi there

This happened to my Friodur, one of my favourites, a few weeks ago, I do not know exactly how, may be I went to heavy in the linen of my Kanayama, but when I started stropping in the leather...disaster happened: I scrapped the leather as I damaged somehow the edge, strop is more or less fine, but would like to know if this is fixable, I do not have any stoned or do any honing at all, so in case is there something to do i'll need to send it somewhere...

i tried to capture the damage in the pic, there is also a zoom of the affected area:

    Hope yo can see it...

Thanks in advance and best regards
    Carlos

Perfectly fixable, so don't panic. It will need a trip over the hones though, so choose a honemiester from the classifieds & contact them.
It really is very minor though, so may be the perfect opportunity to get some stones yourself?

Thanks for the advise, and about doing it myself, one day, but not with this razor, I like it too much....

    Cheers

PS: Any recommendations in Europe? Leon has done some sharpening for me in the past, but need to check with him about fixing something like this.....

This tiny chip does not deserve the level of concern you are expressing.
It will go away in no time on the right stone.
