    Default working buffalo horn scales

    Hi

I purchased some buffalo horn scales but they are a bit thick to my taste.
Any idea how I should go about making them thinner ?
More specifically should I heat the scales first (which is often done to work horn) ? What tools should I use ?

    Thanks !!

    Sure. Email this guy: rao@srkimpex.com
I have his coordinates from some website on knife making but I don't remember which.
You can tell him what you want, he'll make a price.
    Import directly from India.
