    Default Chip-A-Way Razor

Is this razor worth repairing and putting on a new set of scales? Thanks

That looks completely repairable to me. But you have to ask yourself: If they made this razor in a corn razor size, would it be a 'microchip'?

It will take quite a bit of work. My concern isn't so much the chip but the rust especially at the edge. You will have to grind that all away to get the chip out anyway so as you grind you will see if there's clean metal there.

    Default Chip ???

    That ain't no chip, dude. That's a BARBER'S NOTCH...!!!!!

    Let's keep things in perspective....

One quick trip across a low rpm grinding wheel and you are home safe in re-hone city. Good luck on your choice of scales. There are several good rescaler members here. Perhaps someone else can recommend a good rescaler like Maxamillian or Cannonfodder and there are certainly several others.

Just ask for help and someone will !! You are in good company on this forum.
