I am blown away by these scales --

Are they hand made? engraved? did you do all the inlays?

    Amazing --

    Wow very nice.

I like the scales style very much, and the way the blade sits in them accentuates their details too

Wow. those scales are beautiful. The design and craftsmanship are amazing.

I have several old books on jewelery making and have tried engraving and pierced work before. You can do well, what I can only dream about doing.

Very Very nice and creative work.

    Thanks Max.
I remember what you had said about not over balancing the scales to the blade when working in metal.
The scales are still a bit heavier than the blade, but I got balance to within 1/4" of the piviot.
