Most of us should know well enough about Craigslist. Some hate it, some love it, most love & hate it at the same time.

But, the sad truth of the matter is, Craigslist is the place to go to find used power tools at a decent price. You will of course meet the occasional bastardo who screws you over and flakes out on you by selling a bandsaw and a drill press you had made plans on purchasing the next morning to somebody else... But... In the end it all works out. Life balances itself.

Example, after I was screwed over, I went back to my search and what did I find? A Craftsman 10" bandsaw, complete with cast iron stand, for $20. Yes, $20. It runs, its good quality and it made me happy

So, search the craigslist. You'll encounter the craigflakes, but the yummy sugary milk is still there once the flakes are gone!
