    I'm still trying to get my hands on a W&B and you go and score a nice piece like that. Nothing a few years of hand sanding wouldnt fix anyway.

    I agree, I think it's a goner. But I like that little cutback nick between the tang and the heel. Very nice looking. Shame. I have a huge W&B blade but I don't want to do anything with it because I'm afraid if I drop it it will remove my head from my body. There can be only one.

    I'm not quite as pessimistic about that blade's chances of survival. I doubt it'll ever be pretty again but it looks like there's enough to work with there that you could get a shaver out of it.

    For sure there's enough metal as long as the geometry stays intact. Looking at the post-grinder pictures it looks like the blade held up. I think that's going to be a great shaver that you're proud of in the end. Keep us updated (with pictures of course).
