Thanked: 1New Hybrid with Oosik Scales
For those of you who may have missed this razor buried in another thread, this is one of three that I finished working on just this past weekend.
The oosic handle is metal lined. Oosic is the bone from the penis of the walrus. The stuff on this razor is fossilized and over 10,000 years old, so no mean hunter killed it... for those of you with those concerns. When the snowpack melts up in Alaska, oosik is found all the time. I usually get mine from K n G Knife Supply.
I love the stuff, myself... just hate grinding on it. Stinky stinky stinky... This section is from the inner circle of bone where you can see all the pores for the blood to flow through. I fill it with different colors of epoxy. This was left-over material from this knife.

I will put this one up for sale on my site when I can get to it. Got about 30 others to do first. I think I like this razor just about better than any I have done to date. A real slice of masculinity.

Bill,
Of all of the razors you have posted, this is my favorite! Absolutely a work of art. It's almost as if the blade is too "perfect" for the scales. Not a complaint, because anyone owning this razor would be as proud as a father holding his "first born"! Great job! Wish it was in my stable of razors.

Hey Bill
I'll give you $75.00 for it.
You can probably get a little more out of me if you play it real cool.

Now that's a manly razor! This is the best one you've done yet, in my opinion. I really like the colors on this one as well as the materials. Put that up on the bookshelf next to a bull scrotum wallet and you've got quite the conversation starters! I'll be checking the site daily, hopefully I won't miss out on the chance to buy it. Outstanding work Bill!
