Dohh ! A bit slow. Sorry mate. Rarely see all the posts.

1/16 brass rod is what most of us use to make our own pins. Any hobby store will carry it but I buy online from shop below mainly coz they have other odd sizes I use.
The .081" is good for wedges with larger pin holes.

Washers are best bought from Micro Fasteners - Hobbyists Source - Locknuts - Washers - Machine Screws - Fasteners - Rivets - Wood Screws much cheaper than local even with post.

Extremes Hobbies - Australia's Leading Online Hobby Supplier

Gotta be the most economical way to go but if you want ready made pins you might have to ask your local Dovo dealer or check eBay. G'luck.

I've used rod & washers so far, but got some from this guy last week. I've not had a chance to try them yet, but they look great!
I ordered just the standard pins & received a little pack with a photo tutorial, my pins, with thrust washers, a little kit to help protect the scales when you remove the old or pin & buff the new, & finally, a sample of his cat eye pin kits, to rescale one razor. It was more than i was expecting!

I use 3/32 brass rod. I ream out the hole in the razor with a dremmel diamond tip. Especially when the hole is egg shaped it re shapes the hole. I make my inside washers out of .005 brass sheet. I drill it and punch out the washers with a paper punch. for the outside washers, I drill the end of a 3/16 rod. I put it in a drill press vise and drill it on the drill press and cut them off with a jewelers saw. Getting the drill centered is a little tricky but they look real nice when finished. I polish the end of the rod and cut one off and polish the end again and cut off another. Mack
