    Default Identify my Rouge...

I have had a buffing system for 15 some odd years now. I was into custom trucks in the 90's and bought a bunch of wheels, puffs, balls, rouge, disks, etc at a car show.

I have had these two large bars since then.....One gray and the other white. I think they say "Buckeye Products, Speedie, Cincinatti" but I have ground a couple of letters off ;-)

What compound would these most likely be and where would I use them in a whole rainbow of compounds?

The grey (assuming it's light grey, not like charcoal) is likely stainless compound. The white is white rouge (AlOx abrasive of varying size, used to finish after the grey)

    A standard progression would be:

    Emery on Sisal
    Grey on Spiral Cotton
    White on Spiral Cotton
Green on Loose Cotton or Flanel

You are TOO funny.... they are here somewhere.... Will look. I crashed it in '95 when a lady came across the median on the interstate.... Not a pretty sight.
