It's a long road from 80 - 2000 grit ain't it ?
Excellent job !“The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.”

Excellent! Yes I can see why you'd call it quits, nothing more left than a hone and strop...

Sir, you have set the bar impossibly high on a first restore. I have one that I am about to start on and now I have my goal set.
Very very nice!

First Restore
Thank you all for your kind comments.... Only the artist knows exactly where all the imperfections are... It was absolutely a lot of fun and worth doing.. I encourage everyone to do this at least once...by hand.... so as to appreciate the art and effort put forth to create some of these beautifully restored andtique and custom razors!
And once again... thanks to all of you who I pestered with questions and concerns about all aspects of straight razor restoration...I imagine I'll need your help again soon..
Enjoy your weekends....
Sincerely, Maq
