    Default worn down

As some of ya'll know, I've been looking for a bit of acrylic to make some wedges.
I got some time last saturday to look around town and found out that OKC has a Woodcraft store.
They had a nice block of lapis blue acrylic that should suit me fine.
Then the evil little old man who works there came over to visit with me. After finding out that I'm restoring straights, he drug me kicking and screaming over to the hobby wood section. He showed me all the small sections of all the neat woods that the guys on the forum have used to make some of those drool worthy scales.
Long story short(er), after an hour and a half visit, I left with not only my little block of acrylic, but also a 2"x2"x12" piece of both Redheart and Osage Orange.
    *sigh* I'm doomed........

I did ask about the cool selection of burls that they had......he just looked over his glasses at me and with a soft chuckle told me to bring back my first few projects so he could see them, and then we'd talk about burl.

You should take some of your silly metal working in to show the gentleman.
