The original horn scales were broken, so I replaced them with a set I made that I thought put a nice touch on it.

Definitely a nice touch! I have a nice razor with a broken scale, but I'd like to repair it instead of replacing....

Gorgeous razor. Fine work. I notice that Bill hasn't put up one of his razors for "auction" lately. Maybe he is waiting for someone else to step in?

Maybe so. I already accepted an offer on this one, though, and the Ebony/ivory/silver Henckels is out on Ebay right now along with a really nice W&B Meat Chopper ebony/abalone combination. I'm working on a matching set of really super razors right now. Maybe I'll put them out. Actually, I was thinking about building some really nice scales that guys could put on their own pet razors here soon.
