    Default Fixable blade?

OK, so I haven't been here a while as I nicked my blade a while ago and put SR shaving to the side for a while. But now I'm slowly starting to get the itch back to try it again. Big question that will determine my next step is can the blade that I have be fixed?

    It's a 5/8 blade

If there is no crack extending up from the chip it can be honed out. Unless you're experienced at honing you might be well served to go to the classifieds under member services and send it out for a pro to hone it.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
