    Default What size divots for peening?

    I've seen in a few videos that guys have divots drilled in their vice or a hammer to help with peening work.

    What size are the divots, and how deep are they drilled?

    Mine is either 1/8 or just over that.. and only deep enough to have a decent depression that will cup a round pin and hold it in place while peening (not very deep at all
