Default Tiger maple and curly purple heart brush shelf

I had a nice tiger maple board that has been sitting in the wood pile waiting for me to make somthing with it. I made a couple of shelfs for my brushes. One has curly purple heart shelfs and is finished in gloss urethane. The other has black walnut shelves with a satin Danish oil finish. I am going to list the walnut one in the classifieds but the purple heart is on the wall. Nothing fancey but I like it.

Beautifull stand... Also... THis may not be the best place, but, are those Stephen's wood workign brushes? What measurement and density are each, and how do yo like them? (I'm planning on picking some up)

Yes, they are the Stephens woodworking brushes. A couple SRD #1 and #2, the rest are one off customs. Nice knots, soft tips but still stiff enough to scrubb the lather in. The finish is about as good as it gets but I am a little bias considering my name is Dave Stephens.

When you say your name is Stephens, do you mean you are biased because you share the name, or are you the man behind those beautiful brushes?

Looks like you have BAD WAD, which is either BrushAD and WoodAD or just Lynn telling you you have severe RazorAD.

I am the one that makes them for Don and Lynn. Turned myself a big buckeye burl brush last night.

I really like the curly purple heat. Nice job on both shelves.
