Josh Earl and Joe Chandler???
What happened to these two? Joe had some of the most perfect blades going and Josh did some fantastic metal finishes on his. but I haven't seen anything from them in a long time, SRD hasn't shown any available on there in a while either.
Just curious.

I exchanged some emails with JE many many months ago. He said his day time job is keeping him really busy, he said if he did have time to make anything it would be available through SRD. Don said JC was to make some razors to be available near X-mas last year through SRD, this was a few months before last x-mas.
Not much help, but that's the little bit I know/heard.

SRD had some Chandlers not too long ago. It seems like if you blink you miss them. They get a batch in and they're gone in a week or so.
I think Superbleu is correct about JE, he's busy with life right now. Hopefully he'll get back to razormaking at some point.

I got a JE from SRD about 6 months ago and there was at least 1 other posted I think about 3 months ago but as with the JC's you blink and they are gone.

I'm still breathing, guys. My full-time job has stablized, and I'm investing in some new tools. Hopefully I'll have new razors available at something faster than the glacial pace of the past year.

Thanked: 2209Josh, it is good to see you again! I look forward to seeing more of your razors.
Joe Chandler is alive and well, just running behind schedule because of work demands on his time. And yeah, you blink and his razors are gone!Randolph Tuttle, a SRP Mentor for residents of Minnesota & western Wisconsin

For those who haven't seen one of Josh's excellent shavers here are two I was lucky enough to get before he got busy with the job. Forgive the poor photography.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

As one who hasn't yet purchased a JE or JC blade, but would like to one day (and who loves seeing the various results of their creativity), I can't wait to see more of their stuff, and be tempted to purchase something!
