    Default Rusty Kiebitz

How to remove rust from a Razor? I can live with some pitting 'cause it's a plain old razor but the rust isn't what i'm looking for in a razor....

Being where you are, the cheapest would be to use sanding paper in different grids, up to grid 2k and starting from a low grid (depending on how bad the rust is).

Example of a site where you can order this paper per ... paper: www.fine-tools.de There will be others.

Check the wiki for the "how".
There are faster ways to do this but more expensive (buffer wheels, tumbler, ...).

Does you Kiebitz have gold wash/ etching ? If so, you'll need to be very careful or you'll lose the etching (I know I lost the gold wash on my Kiebitz).

    Have fun with it !

I've honed some razors, which means I'm definitely not a pro in honing !!!!!!!

In Belgium I would contact Bart if I were you. He's also offering a free 1st time honing service via his website coticule.be

Regarding where to get the sanding paper: I don't know about hobby shops, but you may be lucky in supply shops for car carrosserie (while you're there you may require as to the cost of buffing wheels and then decide which route to take).

I can't speak for Europe, Asia etc, but those in North America can go to Canadian Tire or Pep Boys. Head to the automotive section and in the body shop area of the store you can find up to 8000 grit wet/dry sand paper. And the price is very affordable.
