    Default Cratex abrasives?

Has anyone used cratex abrasives? I've run across their rubberized abrasive wheels and considering trying them. Thanks

I have used them and found them to be OK for cleaning up a blade but the ones I have are pretty agressive. I have some that are about the thickness of a pencil and are about one inch long. They are easier to control. The wheels will catch on the edge easily and leave groves if you are not real careful.

I have baggies full of them from gunsmithing, I tried them out when I first started restoring blades about 3 years ago, and got less then desirable results... Nothing like the mirror polished feed ramps they can create on a Colt .45acp...

I suppose they could work, but I just never got them to .. YMMV
