Micarta engraved scales
Here is the start of a set of micarta engraved scales I am making. This I am doing using a small chasing hammer and tiny chisel, and was done the same way as gun engraving used to be done, before the power tools came into being. The hammer and chisel I used, I made also. The hammer head is made frome a piece of brass and the chisel is made from a piece of HSS drill stock. I made a set of them.

They are far from finished. I will post them when they are done. The scrolls are not perfect yet and need more detail.
