Thanked: 235If you can clamp the blade in place while you are cutting it is relatively easy. The key is to have it well clamped and then all it takes is a diamond file and persistence. When it came to shaping the end I made sure that the cut was very close to where I wanted the spine to be shaped. There is very little steel in the thin part of the blade and so it was easy to shape with a diamond file.

Now I have to give it one last polish. The wedge is just a tiny bit bigger than the scales. Then I will hone it, test shave and then you might see it in the classifieds.
