    Default TI replacement scales

Thiers Issard Ram's Horn Replacement Scales

I've been looking for Rams Horn scales for a while and only see these...

Has anyone used these on non-TI blades? Do they fit a majority of modern razors? I'm sure my taste for the old ones will be an issue but I have a few nice modern blades that would do well with good scales.

One Sumate from my great grandfather needs scale replacement (not sure he's crazy about the nude on it now ) and another near new blade that hasn't been cleaned up yet but may be to long...

It's alot to pay for scales (in my book) but I'm really itching for a set of rams horn...

The TI scales are so style-specific that I would hesitate to put them on anything else than a TI blade.

I've used both TI and Dovo replacement scales and a Shumate will look better in the Dovo scales IMHO. The TI scales are really nice, but want to fit a larger blade...I've got my TI scales on an older Wade and Butcher and an Joseph Elliot and they both look fine.

I agree that they are only really for larger blades. They easily fit most 7/8 but look stupid on 5/8.

Also, don't use the pins they give you.
