Thanked: 324Sambar stag looks surprisingly good on the larger razors!
Here's one I did for a fellow in Texas. It turned out surprisingly nice. I thought Sambar stag was "OK", but it can work very well.

Thanked: 1Nice look. Stag and a lip-lopper is a good combination.

Thanked: 324Lip-Lopper, LOL... and as I always tell people who shave with these - wear at least a bath towel around your waist when you shave in case that big hunk of steel slips out of the hands, if you know what I mean.
I don't think the stag would work all that well with smaller stuff.

Robert,
Those are beautiful scales. Nice look with a big blade. Good job.if anything has been abnormal for a long enough period it then becomes normal.

Now that's a manly looking razor. I agree a towel wouldn't help . But I once again assert "No towel needed"

Beatiful scales. You are inspiring me to experiment with other materials. I've only worked with wood so far.
I definitely have much more work ahead of me.

Something about the material and that big blade spells the word MAN.
