Oh Hooray!
This is my favorite kind of day to visit the forums, with all kinda great pics of beautiful blades in handsome scales. No exception here, nicely done, PapaBull.

Thanked: 324That's a good example of the price one can expect to pay for a tiny piece of snakewood. $20.00 for a 5 inch piece. Unfortunately, that's about 1/2" short of what's needed for a 5/8 razor and about an inch short of what's needed for a 7/8 or 8/8 razor. That's the big problem with buying knife handle blanks. They're almost always too short (5 inches).

Thanked: 0It looks like the full version is out. how about combining it with another piece of material lets say in the middle or the ends like the nice piece that Bill did with the abalone? the snakewood has beautiful grain it almost looks like tiger stripes
