Thread: Elk Horn scales

I have acquired a nice sized Elk Shed and was thinking about making a handle for my shave brush. I was also wandering if anyone would be interested in making scales out of the horn. The horn has several long straight runs in it that would be ideal for scales. I thought about using the burr end of the antler for the end of my brush handle similar to the way they do for knife making. If anyone is interested, please send me an e-mail or PM.
