Thanked: 1Rich ~ Here's Your Razor
Rich wanted an old classic blade having some intrinsic value to have a new home. Although it's a very tired blade, it's really kinda nice...

Thanked: 324I have a soft spot in my heart for the old wedges, too. That looks like the Greaves wedge. One of the things I like most about the Sheffield razors is the character and variety in them. A square or round point solingen razor looks pretty much like the rest, but the Sheffield razors came in an astounding variety of sizes and grinds.

Man that is a great job. I can't wait to get it back and take it for a trip around my face.
That old W&B never looked so good.

I have one similar to this blade and I love the look of the extra wide bevel. Although tired it will still last a few generations .

Thanked: 0Man, that's almost primal looking. I really like it. A very manly chunk of steel. How does it shave?

nice. I really like the Sheffield razors too. I can't resist the sturdiness of these blades and the geometry is very appealing. I have a few waiting for scales, but that's another story.
