Thanked: 3Parts
Hello I'm toying with making my own scales but don't know where to get parts/pins any suggestions?
Also would stainless 18/8 or brass or oil impregnated bronze?
What metal works best?
Thanks for any advice

Word,
I'm not sure I understand what you are asking in your second question, but I think you'll find everything you want to know by clicking here
Be sure to see the section "sources of material."

If you are planning to make pins, then heat treated brass or bronze is much more easier to work with than stainless.
