    Default Tightening Pins

    Howdy all,

I dont know if this is in the right section but if it is my bad!

I just received a razor i won off of ebay and its in pretty good shape. No rust wear that i can see on the scales, but im afraid there might be some rust between the pins that i cant see

How can i take the pins out, and then tighten them back in to make sure i clean the razor up nicely?

I tried to look on the wiki but i couldnt locate the article about pining and so forth, any help will be really appreciated thanks!

    happy shaving

Here is Glen's (gsixgun) article on pinning from the wiki. Dental floss if you don't want to unpin is your best bet.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Pretty close Basil my friend, I moved this into the "Workshop Forum" where we do the work then we show it off in the "Customs & Rebuilds Gallery"

Also this is the workshop sticky Max and I keep just about every complete thread that we have found, when it comes to working on razors, these threads are where the Wiki stuff comes from, so there is a bit more reading, where the Wiki stuff has been condensed from them... The big difference is you will find many asked and answered questions in the threads...
    Enjoy
