    Default Quick polish question

    Hello,

I know many of you use MAAS to restore blades, etc. I just ordered one along with a cloth. Was wondering if it will take out a few tiny scratches off an already mirror shine blade.

It depends on the depth of the scratches, but probably not.

Strange women lying in ponds distributing swords is no basis for a system of government.

    Default Careful of Gold

I recently used MAAS on a blade with gold decoration and was surprised at how quickly it started to remove the gold coloration. It shined up the blade nicely, but I'd recommend going softly around any colored areas.
