I have Bill's video and it's great. I recommend it highly. There are a few areas where I'm confused though. Billy refers to 1/6" rod and 1/6" tubing for pinning, seemingly interchangeably. I'm going to have to contact him and get myself straightened out. I'm following the video, and I'm in the process of putting a finish on the scales, in preparation for pinning. However, I have decided to glue the wedge in. Seems to me to simplify the process. By the way, for those of you who haven't tried it, making new pins is a bitch! I've made a few just for practice, and even using some of Billy's tricks (a nail set in a drill press) pins are just hard. I'm going to make a few more before I try the real thing.

It is not the average 'how to do it' video!
I was able to buy it and then reviewed most of it maybe three times so far and believe, at the least, it will save a person grief and money way over the cost of the DVD. I have worked metals and materials most all my life and nothing he had to say or show caused me to question it. Yes some things he showed were different than I had done or thought...but..I learned another way of doing that thing.
I consider it valuable for the newby or someone not totally set in their ways. Remember he is out to show how to do things as a person who does so for a living does them. He stresses safety and says everything that needs to be said and, generally, no more! Review each area more than once before you try that technique because there is a lifetime lot of information in a short space.

PS go to his website and view a few shorter videos there.

This true comment alone makes me wonder why one would ask "should I"

I've spent $30 on a crummy movie and popcorn way too many times.

Now that I reflect, Brother, too many time I've blasted $30 on cheetos and redbulls also.

Well maybe also a beverage, well 6 or 12 also, but the CD lasts way longer.
