Default Do you prop up your razor when working on it?

If so how? I am trying to figure out what I can do to steady it or brace it so I can concentrate on either sanding or using the dremel.

Right now, I lay mine flat on the workbench held in place with my 'off' hand. I intend to build a jewlers block (per Bill's CD) as soon as I can find a bit of time.

Half way down this thread Bill gave good advice on making a jig to hold the razor and also to prevent its edge from overheating when sanding with a dremel/flexshaft sanding disk. You may find it useful.

I read that thread before but I can't get a mental image of what he's describing.....do you have a pic of an example or know of one online? Another description of it or how it would be made could be helpful.
