Default Need advice about fine scratches

I just sanded a blade. Starting from 600, 800, 1200 then 2000. Then did Mass. It has a mirror finish until you tilt it to the side and see some fine scratches. I sanded from the spin to the edge. Should i sand heel to toe?

I always finish each grit in a circular motion and then start the next one running from heel to toe. Then when all the circular scratches are gone you know you have removed the scratches from the previous grit.
To remove the scratches your talking about you may need to go back a few grits depending on what grit left the scratches. think about weather or not its worth it.
