Thread: Looking for wood

I had previously found a website that had all kinds of different wood blanks in different sizes. It was linked through someones post on here but i am unable to find it and was not smart enough to copy the link. If anyone has a website link to a good wood source, please post it. Thanks.

You're looking for white heather. You won't find it in lumber, but you can buy it in 50lb sacks from mediterranean countries...

I don't get the 50 lbs sacks. Is it sawdust?

http://www.eisenbran.com/productlist.htm ask these guys. Only way I find it is in pipe blanks I haven't seen those 50 lb lots I'd be willing to buy it that way. Most pipe blanks are too small for razor scales. You may be able to procure some off cuts though. I'd be interested in a link to the 50 lb lots.

No. Odd sized lumps... it all is sourced from fairly small burls, so there aren't many pieces big enough to get lumber or blanks from... and the big ones will run premium prices.
