    Default black tarnish on razors

a couple 'junkers' i got have black tarnish on them that looks like it should be able to be removed with Maas but it isn't coming off....if I use a 'buff' pad with the maas will it make a difference or will I need to use a more aggressive method of removal?

The dark spots are probably from shaving cream that didn't get rinsed off. You'll have to get a bit more aggressive on the polishing but be careful that you don't leave scratches on the blade. A buffing wheel works well. Just keep at it and slowly but surely it will eventually come out.

Check out the thread in this forum called "A Polishing Tip". It might work for you, too.
