    Default Rusty Razors

I have seen some pretty worn down razors on ebay, mainly rusty, other than that the handles aren't too bad, just the blades need some work, wondering whats the best way to get rid of the rust?.

    Cheers Mark~

I've bought quite a few razors off ebay with the intention of restoring them. The best thing I've found for removing rust is wet/dry sandpaper, that is if you only have access to hand tools. I go 320, 400, 600, 800, 1000, 1500, and finally 2000. You might not have to do all those grits if your interested in just getting rid of rust and not the scratches. Hope this helps
