Thanked: 2#0 vs 0 wide washers?
Is there any huge difference between the regular and wide washers? I just noticed I ordered the wide washers for peening instead of regular sized ones.

Thanked: 2I already ordered the wide ones. Placed and paid. I just want to know if those will do or if I need to order different ones now.

I don't like how the 0 wide's look as outer washers. Unless you make a huge peen they look really big compared to the peen (at least for me).

They both will work just fine. Most folks, myself included, generally use the wide washers on the inside, between the blade and the scales, and use the narrower washers for the outside. However, I will often use the wide washers on the outside, especially if I've got wooden scales that look better with a little extra brass showing.

The #OW's are good for making domed washers too.

I keep 0 brass, 0 stainless, 1 brass and 2 brass on hand. I get bunches at a time but I also get brass rod 75 feet at a time. I pin a lot of razors. Just ordered a few hundred more actually.
