    Default Restoration recommendation sought

Here's a razor that was given to me and has been in storage for the last 8 years or so. The scales and pins seem to be good, but the blade is quite corroded in parts.

Unfortunately I am a complete novice at both the use and restoration of straight razors, and therefore hope that I may be permitted to ask for recommendations as to a good person to whom I might send this razor for a proper restoration and honing.

    Look here first

Member Services - Straight Razor Place Classifieds

These are the people that offer...

Look here to see most of their work and decide from there

Somebody's work, style, location, or a combination of those things, will point you in the right direction

    Thanks - I hadn't spotted the gallery.
I did take a look at the classifieds but didn't see anyone in the UK offering restoration work. If possible I'd like to avoid posting overseas although I would rather do that than try the work myself.
