metal polish recommendation
can anyone recommend me some metal polish to remove imperfections from blades?
I bought a few old razor that need to be cleaned and can't find any Maas metal polish here in Australia. the only place that sells them is out of stock and closing down, so it doesn't like like I will be able to get some from there in the future.
Thanks

Thanked: 2591Mother's Aluminum and mag polish, found at Walmart for example.
I think any fine metal polish not rubbing compound will work, check your local car parts stores.Last edited by mainaman; 09-16-2010 at 03:31 AM.

Thanked: 275"Flitz" (a liquid polish) is another alternative. It's very gentle.
Check your local auto-body shops; they should know what's available.

Hi,
Solvol Autosol is also a good polish.
Silica containing toothpastes are good for polishing, though they are quite mild
Have fun !
Best regards
