Unhappy Please Help!! Wierd grind Marks?

I recently started polishing my own razors and ive encountered somthing whack! I have a Wolstenholm 7/8 and i started the progression of greaseless. The second i hit the 320 grit The blade started doing this wierd waving cloudiness. Does anyone know what I am talking about and why the razor would do this? I'll try and post a picture later. Any comments would help. How do i fix this?

Do you mean you are getting a wavy scratch pattern?
What grit did you use below 320? I assume 240.
Have you tried dropping down to that again?
Is there any chance you cross contaminated your wheels?
Are you buffing heel to toe or spine to edge?
Have you tried moving up to 400 grit to eliminate it?

Yes Wavy like the metal heated up and started pulling down toward the edge. Im grinding Heel to toe.
Progression of grit is 80, 120, 240, 320, 400 then to the emery. Ive never seen it befor so i stoped at 320. If i continue will it go away? No way i cross contaminated my wheels. Ive got them marked very clearly.

In that case I'd say there is a good chance that the blade overheated. It would help to see pics, but that seems likely.
