Could not wait and had to see what it might look like
I did a mockup of a Kauri and Ebony box with a Kauri scaled razor.
Had to see the results even if I don't have the wood. Is that eye candy or what?
I have an extra kidney I'd be willing to trade for this stuff. Anyone? Anyone?Last edited by vladsch; 05-17-2006 at 06:31 PM.

Vlad, if you put together a set like that (including the box) I'll tell my fiancee that's what I want for a wedding present. Of course I *will* want your "maker's mark" logo etched on it, I think you should also get a brand of that symbol and brand the bottom of the boxes that you make as well.
And if you dont' end up making one out of that kauri/ebony, I might see if she'll commission a set from you (razor and box) out of olivewood to match my wedding ring (it's titanium with an olivewood inlay). She keeps asking me what I want for a wedding present, so I'll see if she's game to go for something like that
