Normally medium greasy to greasy compounds go on the wheels easily. You need very little pressure and only to have them on the wheel for about a second or so. Some compounds are dry and if you hold them on the wheel or put any pressure on them when loading a wheel, you will get that powder all over the place. An easy way to apply the drier compounds is to toggle the on/off switch touching the bar to the wheel a couple times.

If you are applying greaseless, a very light touch is all you need to coat up a wheel. Let the wheel take the compound. Don't force the compound on the wheel.

Always remember to rake your wheels and re-apply as needed. Less is better.

Have fun,

Lynn
