Snap a photo of your clamp setup!
How do you guys clamp up your razors when you're twiddling around with dental floss and brushes; cleaning up tangs and pivot pins?
I'm fortunate to have a complete woodworking shop but my bench vices are designed for drawers, table legs and other large items. I know there are some head-smacking, why-didn't-I-think-of-that setups out there.
Snap away, I need some ideas!

Rayman a contributor here sells this one:

I have used one for a few months and it works very well. I couldn't make one for that cost plus shipping! Bill Ellis designed the original jigs like this.
Have Fun!

I have a Praxxon jeweler's bench vise that I use for holding things, if necessary, while I work on them.

My hands. There is only 1 exception, and that is when I am drilling out a pivot hole with my drill press. Because if the drill grabs the hole, that combination instantly becomes a high powered blender with a razor sharp blade. And I don't fancy that near me.
So for that purpose I have made a small wooden block with 2 small wooden planks on top. The block fits in the vise of my drill press. The razor can fit between the planks which can be clamped together with screws. I'll see if I have a pic of that somewhere. It is really basic (reused scraps) but it does the trick.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.
