Plastic polish
Hi guys,
I'm finishing some acrylic scales and I sanded them from 230 grit to 2000 but I need some polish compound, I only know novus(I dont find it where I live). Is there more polishing compound??
I found Mothers plastic compound, is it good stuff??
Thanks for all your answers!

Thanked: 13249PlastX in the auomotive section
The Mothers is fine too
Turtle Wax Polishing compound works well
Any of the products made for cleaning up the Headlamp covers on cars work on acrylics pretty darn good...

Anyone use just tripoli or some of that Dico plastic buffing compound with a dremel and buffer wheel?
I've used this on brush handles when restoring those and it works pretty well. I'm about to do my first acrylic scales as well and was planning on using these rogues for that. What about white rogue as well?

White and plastic rouge works excellent on buffing wheels but I'm talking buffers and not Dremel, The problem with the plastic/acrylic scale handles would be heat buildup. So when using a Dremel you would have to use the lowest speed and work in increments. Also be very careful when using a Dremel.
