I have an old John Barber in need of scales. I have been tinkering with leather, but they are still a work in progress.

I picked up a reground John Barber with what look like Ivory scales with the usual wedge crack/chip.

Would there be any way to transfer the Ivory scales to the old blade? They would need a liner and wider wedge at the least. I'm thinking brass.

The Ivories are the same basic shape but slightly shorter than the leather scales. They look like they could be original scales for the original grind.

Here are a few pictures. What measurements would I need to know? Is it feasible?

Any professional out there willing to take this on?
