Are new razors without scales available?
Although I've only been SR shaving since the summer, I'm intrigued with the idea of "building" my own razor from new parts, as opposed to restoring an old one. I'm fairly handy and would find a razor restoration project fun; however, from what little research I've done, it seems like a restoration could consume more time (and possibly dollars for additional equipment) than I'm willing to invest at the moment.
So, does anyone manufacture un-honed razors without scales?

You could contact any of the custom razor makers and ask them to sell you such a blade. And I think you could buy the Livi regrinds as blanks (not sure). Still, that would be costly as well.
You might be better off buying a cheap new razor such as a Wapienica and remove the scales.Til shade is gone, til water is gone, Into the shadow with teeth bared, screaming defiance with the last breath.

+1, the custom makers would be able to do that for you but as far as I know none of the production makers do.
