Tell your wife she is truely a great leather craftwoman, good tooling too. I have been a leather carftman for over 30 years and I do make all of my pouches out of exotic skins. I use the same design as your wife. You must be proud of having such a talented wife. You guys could make some money selling them in the classified. Thanks for showing such beautiful leather pouches on the forum. Juan.

Yeah I have a few razors without coffins that could use a leather pouch. No hide to be found in NYC though.

I'm sure I read somewhere not to keep razors in leather as the residual acid can corrode the steel over time
What's the real deal, is this hokum? what's your experience/advice.

Timberr I like those "stone age" pieces, functional and yet practical. I can't wait to see the next revision. Also my wife likes the brush comb idea, she says there are those times when a tool like that will come in handy. I guess we are making a trip to the hardware store soon.

I got one from his wife too. I love it. I keep my first razor in there all of the time (unless I am using it) and I have never had a problem with rust. I do keep all of my razors oiled all of the time as it takes me a while to get back to them.
I love how I told her what I wanted and she practically read my mind.

Torolf,
Of course! I just assumed they'd have more finished products but there must be raw material down there somewhere... good call!
